About Me |
|
| Wormy, Jack, Mike, James, Laurie and Booo, we're The Brass Bandits and we're coming for you!!
The Bandits were formed in middle of a long 2005 summer. In between playing on chapos X-box and making rope swings we picked up our instruments and had a little jam, things got serious (as close to serious as we get) when we entered QEBOTB and realised we didn't actually have any songs to play. We got down to business doing covers and writing some of our own material and played our first gig a few weeks before BOTB at Stanhope town hall..... After our first QEBOTB success and second place ranking we got Jamesy boy on the job of guitar to add more sound and take it up a notch so that we could be even better, since then TBB have gone onwards and upwards, playing gigs across the country, (even in big bad Camden, London!) and with ever growing numbers of fans wherever we play, things are looking pretty good for TBB. We pride ourselves on our catchy brass lines, fast paced guitar rhythms, and funky basslines topped off with a blend of awesome drum fills, vocal tom-foolery and general fun times that folks can go crazy to and party down like theres no tomorrow. As far as we're concerned, if the crowd enjoys it then its a good gig and the fun times never end....party tunes into the small hours is what TBB are all about!!!!! After winning QEBOTB2006 and the 10 hours recording time in a studio TBB finally commited some quality recordings to CD which is on sale now titled "What Were We Thinking?" we'll let you decide what that's a reference to... So come n party down in Brass Bandit Land!!!! We have had the pleasure of playing with the following top notch bands.......
