I'm a 28 year-old mc reppin' GA. 1/2 of Riot Squad with my boy Versatyle(www.soundclick.com/riotsquad www.myspace.com/rsriotsquad). We've been a group since '95. Released our debut LP "The Virgin Sacrifice" in Sept. '04 on Ground Floor Entertainment. I made my bones as a battle mc all throughout the Atlanta area, cutting a swath through the competition long before white mcs and battling were the trends of the moment. I won the Mic Check MC Battle Championship in May of '99 and defended it weekly against some of the best cats in the game, until I retired that title undefeated a year later. Won the Mic Foundation MC Battle Championship in summer of '99. Competed in and and won various other battles and destoryed open mics whenever the chance came up. Murdered tons of dudes in a now-infamous cypher at the former Club Kaya (now Vision) establishing myself and the RS name. I've done interviews and freestyles on WRAS 89.3 and appeared on numerous DJ Jamad (www.djjamad.com www.myspace.com/djjamad) mixtapes. Right now we're in the process of setting up some new live shows and working on the second album with Casey Wells (www.soundclick.com/caseywells www.myspace.com/caseywells), in addition to some new producers. I'm also recording a solo album and a mixtape, and still finding time to drop some heat with my side project, FOS (www.soundclick.com/fosfiguresofspeech www.myspace.com/fosfiguresofspeech) with Deuce One (www.soundclick.com/too1 www.myspace.com/deuceone). When I'm not busy with all that I like to write and produce for other people, and my camp is always on the lookout for new artists.
