About Me |

| Born and raised in Providence R.I. (no not Long Island..), I was nurtured by my parents and their eclectic choice of music. I grew up listening to a little bit of everything. From old school pioneers such as the Temptations and Al Green, to Billy Joel and Elton John. As I grew older and had more of a choice in what I listened to I leaned towards singers like TLC, SWV and Brandy. From there I developed an ear for music. That ear for music later transcended from mere appreciation to a true love and passion for me.
After moving to New York in 1999 to begin college, I earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising as well as Marketing. I chose to stay in the city after graduating to purse a life of my own in new unfamiliar and intriguing territory. Now at the age of 27 I have lived in White Plains, the Bronx, Harlem and now settled in Mt Vernon.
After a chance meeting at a New York City nightclub with Seven D Profit the idea to pursue a musical career was spawned. With some encouragement from friends I decided to act on those impulses and take my love for music to another level.
So what is my style? Its still developing as we speak. Loosely it consists of R & B, Soul cradled by strong Hip Hop elements. Mixed with positive influences reminiscent of Lauryn Hill and Mary J. Blige I'm trying to connect with my audience by staying aware of the issues of the times, dealing with the ups and downs of relationships and at the same time providing good music.
