| As a student of pedal steel artist Bj Cole. Since the age of 21 Spencer Cullum has been playing pedal steel guitar across the U.K and U.S touring with the group Deadstring Brothers who have been signed to Chicago label Bloodshot records since 2005. Spencer has also written and co wrote songs with the Deadstring Brothers under his publishing domain Human Error Music (bmi) .
