I like biographies of crazy people and especially those on DeSade and Masoch. Any fiction by T.C. Boyle, Kurt Vonnegut, Cormac McCarthy, Brett Easton Ellis, Carson McCullers, Chuck Palahniuk, Tom Robbins, Nick Hornby, Liz Jensen and Haruki Murakami. I love Hunter S. Thompson. Recent reads (and re-reads): Plato's Republic, Gonzo, After Dark, No Country for Old Men,The Corrections, God is Dead and The Omnivore's Dilemma. The Oxford English Dictionary-best book ever!!! |
