CEREBRAL EFFUSION, A band coming from the Basque Country, started back in 1997 when 4 guys gathered up to compose some brutal death metal. Quickly they started composing new tracks and working hard on their first effort on the underground scene. Just a year later, October 1998, "Immortal Cemetery" came out, 1000 copies were printed, and the whole album was self produced and edited.

"Immortal Cemetery" contains 5 brutal death metal cuts that at the time had a good response from the underground scene, and the copies where mostly sold out.

Due to "Immortal Cemetery" CEREBRAL EFFUSION entered the underground and the band play lots of gigs around. 2000, when everything looked cool for the band, some serious line up problems started. The band was a three piece act during such a long time, but anyway the band continued working and playing live.

After quite a long time, the band realized that another guitar player could give a tighter and more consistent live sounding and finally in June of year 2001 a new guitar player was recruited. CEREBRAL EFFUSION was a quartet again and since then to May of 2002, the band worked hard writing new material for their first full length album "Violence in Motion".

Nearly a year after the recording of the album, and after a big amount of problems and contacts with labels, the new CD finally came out through UNMATCHED BRUTALITY records. UBR payed attention on the band and it was May of 2003 when "Violence in Motion" was released.

"Violence in Motion" contains 9 tracks of highlighting brutal death metal, that includes "Human Butchery" from "Immortal Cemetery" the bands previous effort. Year 2003 went really good for CEREBRAL EFFUSION, being sold the first 1000 printed copies by UNMATCHD BRUTALITY. The first website was created this same year. On 2004 UNMATCHED BRUTALITY printed the second thousand copies.

After some shows CEREBRAL EFFUSION starts composing new songs for what is going to be their most brutal album done by now "Smashed and Splattered Organs" containing 9 tracks. July 2004, the band enters LAMIÑA PRODUCTIONS STUDIO to record their forthcoming album. After hearing different offers from some record labels, the band inks a deal with GOREGIASTIC RECORDS. "Smashed and Splattered Organs" will be finally released in 2005. Once the recording is done, Alain leaves the band, and Jabo from NUMEN, joins CEREBRAL EFFUSION.
