These days, it would seem that the term urban boyband is an oxy-moron, but not in Odysys case. Rayvon Reed, Jesse Stearn, Chris Denker, and Elijah Brown have come to prove that race, age, and ethnicity are all meaningless in the grand scheme of urban music. Formed less than 2 years ago, Philadelphia-based Odysy has caught and held the attention of all eyes willing to take a glance. Their diversity, versatility, and all around raw talent make Odysy a true force to be reckoned with. With ethnicities ranging from Black, White, Dominican, and Jamaican, Odysy brings a brand new face to the world of music. Although still new to the game, Odysy has accomplished many great feats: Theyve opened for some of the biggest names in music including Eve, Elton John, the Neptunes, G-Unit, and Patti LaBelle. They were also quarter-finalists on the 2nd season of NBC's hit show "America's Got Talent". If asked who influenced these 4 young men, names such as The Temptations, Boyz II Men, New Edition, and Michael Jackson would surely be mentioned.
