Music:You may regard him as a young and budding talent but there’s no denying that Awal Ashaari is well on his way to solidifying his position in this industry. It’s hard to miss the 27 year old as he hosts a number of programmes on a couple of channels. |

Movies:He landed his first on-air career as a newsreader for 8tv. While news reading he participated in FCUK Model Search and wound up winning the competition. He was spotted by a Producer from Astro during the competition and was offered to host an Infotainment programme entitled Beat TV on Astro Ria. A versatile talent, Awal caught the attention of the public with his excellent performance and great onstage presence and charisma, which got him good, reviews from both the media and the public. Awal then was offered to host OIAM the first reality show that offers RM1 million to the winner. |

Television:Added to that is of course his distinctive spiky hair that has been his trademark amongst his fans. They can be spotted styling the same hair-do. Somewhat of a trendsetter, he is known in the industry as a fashion icon. He has a distinct style that distinguishes him from the rest. His style and flair landed him his own fashion programme called W aired on TV3. Thus, making Awal the only male artiste in Malaysia hosting a fashion programme.Since then Awals career has been on a roll and he has hosted numerous events and functions including live and pre-recorded television programmes.Awal has then been given the opportunity to groom his acting skills and has been selected to play a number of lead roles in various films such as Impak Maksima, Syurga Cinta, I’m Not Single, Apa Kata hati, Malaikat Maut, Diva and Diva Popular. |
