| Bringing his new school flavor and old school soul, it's no wonder why they call him the New Ol Skool of TLC. Marcus Wain has spent over 30 years on planet earth; almost all those years have been spent as an active citizen of music. His passion and love for the radio culture is so strong, it is only right that people refer to him as such.
Born and raised in Indiana, Marcus Wain courtship with radio started at an early age. "Back when I was 8 or 9 I remember carrying this cheap boombox around repeating everything I heard the DJ said. Mama wanted me to be a violinist; I wanted 2 turntable and microphone" he fondly remembers. "Music has always been my escape. Whenever I was upset I would just turn on the radio."Thru the years, his passion for radio never died. He is now on the radio. In fact, the radio station he grow up listening to 106.7 WTLC.Marcus Wain isn’t new to the TLC Family. He started off as an intern learning everything he could as he worked hard to reach his dream of being on the radio. Then the opportunity came when Marcus Wain was offered the position as Producer for The Tom Joyner Morning Show. Since then Marcus has been making moves. If there is one statement that describes Marcus, It would be down to earth. Whether you are male or female, young or old. No Matter what your race or ethnicity is, Marcus makes you feel like he is a homie. Not only is he the producer of the TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW ; he is the new host of the Saturday Night Basement Party.
