dAS MODEL est un trio guitare/basse/batterie qui préviligie le nerf
sur le muscle, l'angle sur le courbe et le scandé sur le chanté.
Guitare acérée, batterie martiale et basse qui fait brrr sont les
forces motrices de ce groupe lillois actif depuis plusieurs années sur la
scène noise du Nord de la France et de la Belgique.Les
influences de dAS MODEL ne se limitent pas à la musique.
Loin des clichés du rock i-love-u-babe-i'm-so-sad, leur
univers est influencée par Kafka, David Lynch, Godard, Breton ou encore le
système de cut-up cher au romancier new yorkais William Burroughs.
Lapins velus portant du rouge à lèvre et chassant des psychiatres
cachés dans des tanks en cuir sombre, squelettes dans des bouteilles de
chair, eskimos mort-nés fondant dans une baignoire et empereur assassiné
par un hurlement évoluent au travers des textes, sortes de fables
acerbes très imagées, presque cinématographiques, de l'evolution/du contexte de l'espece humaine.
C'est sur scène que la musique de dAS MODEL trouve toute son essence.
Rockant comme un seul et unique "cheval sauvage géant aux jambes
sanguinolantes" (sic!) le trio fait preuve de l’énergie et de l’urgence
propre à la musique qu'ils jouent - brute et imprévisible, sauvage et
débridée -
Le trio se produit le plus souvent possible, partageant la scène avec
des groupes comme Amanda Woodward, Gâtechien, Don Vito, Tang, Gi Joe...
