| From the streets of Los Angeles to stages in Hollywood, Singer Boy has been sculpting a dream and captivating the hearts of fans everywhere. This phenomenal singer actually began his entertainment career as the youngest member of Hip-Hop group, “Allah’s Army” at the tender age of 4, seen in Rolling Stone’s magazine. It was at the age of 15 that Singer Boy decided to shift the focus of his music to the more melodic sound he is known for today.
This young star has all the bases covered: singer, rapper, producer, songwriter, dancer, crooner, and all around charmer. "In L.A, everyone wants to be something: Actors, models, singers, rappers, producers, etc. So, to rise to the top you can't just be good, you have to be astounding," explains Singer Boy. And he continues to show he is just that, astounding. Singer Boy has often been compared to many big names in the industry. "Because my style is a mixture between R&B and Pop, a lot of people say I remind them of Usher or Chris Brown. I really hear a little of everybody. I think people like to identify you with someone. I'm just glad it’s always someone big." Given amount of confidence and charm that Hasan a.k.a. Singer Boy displays, it’s clear to see why women have formed an infatuation for this new R&B sensation. Needless to say, he knows what a girl wants. Thus, his past and present life experiences provide him plenty of writing material. “There is no doubt that women play a huge part in my success, they are my music.” Singer Boy describes his ideal woman as “Sexy, independent, never scared to let it go, always positive and willing to communicate.” –One twelveAbove all, Singer Boy continues to write and record music while accommodating high school tours, club performances, and various appearances. He plans on working with major names in the future, such as: Usher, Jay-Z and Pharrell just to name a few. Singer Boy has been featured on several compilation albums, and is set to release his on in 2008. |
