| From growing up to sounds ranging from Black Uhuru to JJ Cale to Bach and Frank Zappa, to playin out the sounds of Derrick Morgan, Beres Hammond and Morgan Heritage, Asherah D's musical life ranges from lyricism, piano songwriting and in the past DJing, add in some djembe drumming occasionally, running rhythm workshops, imagining film soundscapes and popping to a jam and there's the basic scenario in movement.Asherah's songwriting isn't limited to one specific genre, but if you're going to make a choice, it's more Blues than anything. The driving force for her musical expression is the evolutionary change and a passion for voicing the emotions that this present life brings.Stay atuned people.
