About Me |
|
My friends call me "Bucky." I was born in 1895 and by the time I was 32 years old I had a wife and child and no viable means to support them; I had decided that I was a failure in life and was determined to kill myself. However, before drowning myself in Lake Michigan, I gave myself one last chance. I made the decision that every move I made from that moment forward would be towards the betterment of all humanity instead of just recieving a paycheck. Then the Universe began to work in favor of my stated goals. I went on to invent the Dymaxion Car, the Dymaxion world map (which created a whole new way of looking at the world), the Geodesic Dome (which landed me on the cover of Time magazine), create the Synergistic way of thinking (everything is connected, we can do MORE WITH LESS), coined the term Spaceship Earth (which became very popular in the '60's) and published many books including the sum-total of my life's work-- Critical Path, among many other things. Some claim that my writings are either inaccessible or the work of a quack. This page is here to simplify some of my ideas and let people know that my ideas are still viable. Once you explore what is only hinted at here I hope you will let me know what you think. Remember: no one will ever walk aboard this spaceship the way that you do right now. Make the most of it. Sincerely, Bucky. |
