In a relatively short period Superfloor has grown from being a groovy barband to a promising blues rock act. The excellent reactions of the Dutch musicpress on the mini-cd Check and singles seem to be only a taster for what the future has in store.

Superfloor won the prestigeous Arrow Classic Rock Award. Part of the prize was a gig at the Arrow Classic Rock festival in Lichtenvoorde. With leadsinger Floor Kraaijvanger at the helm, Superfloor opened the festival. The band skilfully warmed the audience for acts such as Deep Purple, Lynnyrd Skynnyrd, ThinLizzy and Uriah Heep. The second part of the prize was the recording and release of the single Hold Me / Higher.

At this very moment the band is working real hard on the new material for the album. Their own style that has emerged over the years wil be continued; blues rock with soul influences. Superfloor likes to learn from bands as The Black Crowes and Cry Of Love. Of course their main influence will be their own musical experience: Guitarist Frank van der Wiel and Bassplayer Rob van den Broek both earned their spurs as Rob Lamothes (ex Riverdogs) band and Brian Robertsons (ex-Thin Lizzy, Frankie mIller and Motorhead)
