DJ’s and Producers like DJ Disciple, Larry Heard, Vince Watson, Sue McGuiness, DeMarkus Lewis, Glenn Underground, Kerri Chandler, Nick Holder, Vincenzo Ragone, and her closest friends Joseph Valentin and Steven Garcia from Funky Soul Rebels & House Cafe Music, have influenced her musical choices through their captivating sounds. She takes pride in being a part of the FSR collective by bringing her sounds to the masses. DJ Rubi has held residencies at The XPO Gallery Jan Larsen, Sapphire Lounge, Belmont Lounge and has had guest appearances at Bembe, Baraza, Flute, Union Square Lounge, Sin Sin, and Le Souk in New York City, which has resulted in transforming dance floors into spaces of sheer bliss.
