| Christopher James was born in the small town of Watford, England. His career in the entertainment industry began working alongside Australian singer, Kylie Minogue, in her music video. Chris soon caught the attention of Italian designers, Dolce & Gabbana, who chose him to work with supermodels, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, and Veronica Webb at their Milan fashion show. Chris’ international travels led him throughout Europe and South Africa where he was offered a contract with the Wilhelmina Model Agency in New York. While in New York, Chris successfully auditioned to study with acting coach Anthony Abeson, at the New York Producers Club, and joined improvisation groups at the world famous New York Comedy Club. A year later, armed with a passion for writing and performing, Chris moved to Hollywood and successfully auditioned for the FOX television showcase. A role in the FOX show ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ soon followed. Chris’ stage and comedy improvisation training landed him the lead in director Daheli Hall’s independent film, ‘Mandingo in a Box’, in which he played several characters. The film has successfully screened at several film festivals and was purchased and aired on HBO. Chris also plays the lead role in the feature film ‘The Disciple.’ With a natural ability for comedy and his desire to produce a one-man show, Chris started doing stand-up comedy. After only two years out on the road performing stand-up in clubs all over California, he successfully wrote, produced and starred in his first half hour special, “One Night of Stand Up”, hosted by HBO’s Tourgasm, Jay Davis.
