| New to internet. Learned about pc's in early '80's. Second home pc but no teacher till Dec. '05, (thank God). I believe the teacher is there when the pupil is ready and I was SO ready. Don't know how to edit or use most tool bars so please excuse so many errors.
Have a 16-yr-old son and a 14-yr-old daughter. My husband is a veterinarian. We met while I was a Veterinary Technician in large animal anesthesia at the University of Illinois. Married and moved to Springfield, Il in 1989. Miss my hometown, Ottawa, Il with the Illinois River, Starved Rock and all the caves and canyons up there. We have a dog, three cats, hermit crabs and 2 aquariums. Across the street was the site of the first Lincoln-Douglas senatorial debate in 1858. Was easy to fall in love with books there!!! Just finished"Pattern Recognition" by William Gibson. Read 362 pages in three sittings. I don't read books--I devour them. |
