| Hey folks my virgin Blues production (Guitar Shorty "We the People" Alligator Records) landed "Best Contemporary Blues Award" 07' at the Memphis Blues Awards May 10th 07' so nice to be reconized,....OK back to Details......Wyzard is a visionary producer, an extraordinary bassist, performer, arranger,programmer and prolific songwriter.(also a keen guitar and Keyboard noodler,) His experience on the road as bassist with Jackie Wilson at age 13 began his long and rich career.Wyzard is most noted for his work with Mothers Finest, and his popular song Baby Love, featuring Joyce Kennedy on vocals. The bands diversity landed it on tours with The Who, Parliament - Funkadelic, Aerosmith, Earth, Wind and Fire, AC-DC, Santana and many other diverse acts.Wyzards arrangements, songwriting, playing and producing originated what is now called Funk Rock. Prince, Living Colour and Eddy Van Halen to name a few, are artists that have been influenced by Wyzard.In addition to his consistent International touring with Mothers Finest, he toured and recorded with Stevie Nicks on her famous Wild Heart tour and platinum CD along with Waddy Wachtel, Liberty DeVito, Mick Fleetwood, Prince and producer Jimmy Iovine.A Unique adventurous period with " Rickey Medlocke and Blackfoot" led to tours with Stevie Ray Vaugne, Joan Jett an the Blackhearts etc. and an Atlantic records release.In addition, Wyzard has produced numerous featured songs for the "Chuck Norriss, Walker Texas Ranger," T.V. show, including writing and producing featured songs for Nia Peeples with his partner Vida Simon through their company, Simon-Seay Productions.Wyzard is also a part of the Songdogs, featuring Carl Carlton and the international crew of Bertram Engel, Bobby Keys, Ian McLaughlin, Levon Helms, Sonny Landreth, Pascal Kravetz, Wayne P. Sheehey and James Gary(Moses Mo)Moore. The "Love and Respect" CD featuring Robert Palmer and Xavier Naidoo, immediately pushed the top forty in Europe.An Aug 06 release of Guitar Shorty's "We the People" CD was produced by Wyz for Alligator records,...Shorty is the real deal!Currently residing in Los Angeles, CA.
