| "amongst fire and ice, one who is hot and cold. thirsty, unstoppable and vicious..." so i’m forced to ride the fence between my conservative professional life (physician) and my more forgiving artistic life (musician). the duality is so fitting of me as a pisces, even though i don’t put much stock in astrology. although i appreciate what some might call the macabre or morose and the darker things in life, i can make the best run of it on the finer side, as well. the many years of education i endured combined with the diametrically opposed people i meet in my life helps me maintain this split personality. i'm like a retarded edgar allen poe without all that opium baggage! a glass of south american malbec gets you the unabridged version… what else? ah, yes the music. well, i’m the drummer for a nj cover band called The Monster and an international lounge noir gang of dead beat musicans known as Piker Ryan's Folly . you can catch me somewhere in the tri-state area every weekend or throughout Europe this fall on the New York Noir Tour . cover bands – another nj phenomenon along with great beaches, diners and toxic waste - perfect together. there you have it. croaker by day. rocker at night. sleep? plenty of time for that when i’m dead. oops, there i go being morbid again! |
