| In 1986, Derrick May created Transmat Records as a launch pad for a string of monumental releases. ..Nude Photo.., ..The Dance.. and the massively influential ..Strings Of Life.. sent seismic waves through the dance community and touched off the youth culture movement known as ..The Summer of Love... Transmat and its offshoot Fragile went on to release records that would become reference points for nearly every electronic artist to follow.
