While on tour, Rocco Deluca and the Burden started recording their next album here with our very own JP Manza (engineer) and Jesse O'Brien (ast. engineer). All tracks were recorded to 24 track 2" tape to get that big, warm, fat sound. After their 2007 tour ends, they want to concentrate on the new album and get more into the studio mode. Check them out here!!! *NEW* Chamillionaire!!!! Chamillionaire layed down some tracks in studio A with JP Manza last week. Chamillionaire will be off to Texas, for his next few shows towards the end of October. For more details, click here. *NEW* Common in town!! Rapper/artist Common stopped in this week to record some promotional vioce over lines with JP Manza. Common will be performing at The Fillmore Auditorium, Denver on September 13th! The Band Kan'Nal has just finished mixing their album "Open Channel" here with Kevin Clock (engineer) and Jesse O'Brien (ast. engineer), which was recorded all on a Sonoma DSD (Direct Stream Digital) system. The one and only Gus Skinas supplied the whole system including 8 Meitner Design DSD converters. With the help of Sony, Gus designed the Sonoma system and made it possible to do Incredibly high quality recordings. Kan'Nal's new Album will be out this fall and it sounds AMAZING!! The toybox remote recording truck is used to professionally record live concert performances, live broadcasts for radio and the internet, and audio for video shoots. Some of toybox’s recent recordings include, Randy Travis in New Mexico,Trey Anastasio at Red Rocks, The Colorado Symphony at Beotcher Concert Hall for a new series of Qwest Comercials, Norah Jones at Red Rocks, Yellowcard at the Fox in Boulder, and the Drive By TruckersG3 Tour: Satriani, Yngwie, and Vai for their DVD, Jonny Lang at the Fillmore, the Studio C recording of Train live at the Paramount for KBCO. Several commercials for Qwest with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Blues Traveler at Red Rocks for their DVD, and Collin Raye at the Ecenter for His upcoming DVD release.
