VOTE US OUT OF TOP 6 TO 1!!! Hey there film fans… and fans of awesome-osity— here’s the deal: I recently directed two new movies.... and.... INDEPENDENT FEATURES FILM FEST HAS POSTED US ON LINE The thing is, me and Irina independently sent “A Man Among Giants “ and “I Thought You Finally Completely Lost It” to the festival which ordinarily wouldn’t be weird except that it bases its selections on a vote. THE PUSH FOR “I THOUGHT YOU FINALLY COMPLETELY LOST IT” Initially, I was worried they’d be in competition with each other, and since “Giants” had a premiere already, we were pushing “Lost It.” As it turns out, they are in separate categories… Better still—Irina has been doing such a good job promoting it, that both of the films are in the TOP 6. HELP US PUSH PAST THE TOP 6 TO NUMBER 1! It would mean so much if you could help us reach 1 by voting. The voting will still be going on til June 30th so we could get bumped down. YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT: Go to the website to rate the movie! You don't even have to watch it...in fact, they seem to have messed up when uploading “Lost It,” and only the first 3 minutes are available! But boy is it an amazing 3 minutes! –Secondly, they posted the long 108 minute version of “Giants” as opposed to the 94 minute one which is what we will be screening elsewhere… but I digress. You may need to install Flash 9 if you don't have it-the site will let you know and give you a link.( I had to install this and refresh the page before I could see the content). If you do end up having to install, you will need to go back through this link to get to the movie or search for it in their search box. 2. Click on "Sign In" at the top left of the screen, and click on "Sign Up Today" under the login window to create an account. It's really quick, it will ask for a userid and password, as well as an email address. They won't send you spam...just one email with your account information. I signed up a while ago and haven't gotten a single email. 3. Go back to the "I Thought You Finally Completely Lost It" page (I think it will take you back after you create your account). 4. Click on the 5th star to rate it! The stars are grayed out even though there are ratings for some reason(I think you can only see the ratings after you have voted). They are located under the release date information and it says "vote" right next to them. Also, if you click anywhere else near the stars, it will record your vote as whatever star you were closest to. So be careful when clicking. 5. Go back to the "A Man Among Giants" page then rinse and repeat (by giving it 5 stars too!! 6. Forward to friends who you think might enjoy, or are supporters of the arts. 7.
