I was born on a full moon, raised in Woodstock, NY. My last city of residence was Seattle but now I get to say I'm technically homeless... but with no complaints. I'm currently living/working/playing on the road as the bassplayer for Van Hunt. I am also a jeweler and an artist. In my high school senior year I was voted most individualistic, funkiest dresser and most bizarre. I am sort of a philosophical person, I spend a great deal of time observing and absorbing. Human behavior is very interesting to me. I beleive in psi-phonemena and I consider myself a spiritual person but I am NOT one of those new-age types who live by what their perception of spirituality "should" be. I dont practice an organised relegion or anything, although I find that many aspects of Buddhism hit pretty close to home, I just try to stay grounded and filter out all the tons and tons of bullshit there is. I love reality and refuse to do anything to jeopardize my perception of it. I try to be a conscious person, I was vegetarian since I was 13 and vegan for years but now I eat fish and eggs for health reasons. I am an animal rights activist and I have a strong opposition towards genetic engeneering. I try to eat only organic foods for that reason. I just think there is something inherently wrong about splicing fish genes with a tomato plant! But aside from all that, music is the love of my life. Though I love the arts of any kind, if there was anything in this world that would be a good expression of who I am, my music would be the most expressive of my soul.
