| John Wayne Shot Me was an indie band from a deserted corner of the dutch countryside. The band consisted of Thijs van den Broek, Marieke van den Broek, Geert van Beers and Merijn van Pelt. Sometimes they were assisted by Austin Lace's Fred Stiens on keyboards and Emilio the friendly robot on xylophone. JWSM aka Uncle John retired in 2006, but in their time they were one of the 2 best bands in their hometown Ammerzoden (together with fanfare st. caecilia). | |
