En 2003 Le Kit est une "structure de concert modulaire", un collectif d'amis musiciens dont la composition varie au gré des concerts. Pour dépasser un peu le cadre ponctuel de l'entreprise, ils créent Le Kit Corporation, petit label destiné a sortir les productions des membres du collectif. Fin 2004, sort Les écrans, premier EP de zero degré, puis en 2006 Klass Kit vol. 1, une compilation regroupant l'essentiel des artistes du label, et en 2007 Plarïd, le premier album d'Orange Brown.
