Kendra Hughes grew up in Burlington, Ontario. After many years of hard work and dedication, Kendra was accepted to George Brown College for their dance foundation program with a main focus in ballet. Since then she has been breaking the boundaries of dance with fresh choreography and hard work. Kendra has trained all over the world, including returning year after year to study hip hop at the Broadway Dance Center in New York and training at the Sydney Dance Company in Australia. She has had many opportunities dancing with Madonna’s choreographer Slam and dancing for Mya in New York City. Kendra has studied many kinds of dance including jazz, ballet, modern, tap, swing, break dancing, hip-hop and ballroom. Kendra has been a member of Toronto’s leading Hip Hop dance company Black Magic and worked with the Hamilton Modern Dance Company. She is fully certified with PAEC in modern dance and has been taking her hip-hop workshop on the road with her, teaching and meeting dance students all over Canada. Kendra is always striving for new material and stretching the creative limits of her dance. |

Right now in my MP3 player is Michael Buble, Melanie Durrant, Madonna and some mix of songs that I discovered in the Middle East. Music is my life! |

Television:CSI, I also watch America's Next Top Model. I get into the really cheesy reality TV shows like Much Music's VJ Search. I own all of the seasons of Sex and the City. |

Books:I love any Michael Crichton book really. My favourites are Prey, Disclosure and Jurassic Park. I am a fan of The Da Vinci Code of course. |
