I also love Hawksley Workman, death cab for cutie, jimmy eat world, at the drive in, the strokes and THE WHITE STRIPES, charlie pride, loretta lynn, ray charles, local halifax music, emmy lou harris, cash, tegan and sara, blues, final fantasy, the police, muddy waters, and the arcade fire. yeah yeah yeahs, sarah harmer, the cranberries, the raconteurs, magnetic fields, deerhoof, dead prez, JAY Z, Nas, Atmosphere, KRS One...I also love iron maiden, deftones, sepultura, pantera, I used to really love metal... then I got through puberty. It just doesn't pull on the ol' heart strings as much as it used to. I don't hate it but I'm more down to I like 1 or 2 songs by a particular loudish band or I like one album... For example: I like the Dillenger album with Mike Patton, I like Heartwork by Carcass, From the Cradle to Enslave and some of Midian by cradle of Filth, Black Water Park by Opeth, Evil Empire by Rage, Gallery of Suicide by Cannibal Corpse... some say there is no continuity to my choice in loudish music... I may like one song and hate the album... no rhyme no reason... |
