About Me |

We're Skimmer. Based in Birmingham, England. We write skewed pop songs. Our fifth album, Self Harmony, is coming out on CD in March in Japan, and May in the UK. It'll also be available worldwide on iTunes. We're touring Japan from March 31st-April 8th (see the gig box above for more details), and we'll be around Britain once we get back. The double CD 'Smitten', is now in the shops. It contains all the songs from our out-of-print first 2 albums plus some extra songs, which in effect will cover the period from our first demo in 1993 up to the 1999 Tufty Club EP. Along with 'Still', last year's 'I'll Tell You What!' album and the forthcoming one, that's a lot of Skimmer records to go and get. In good shops everywhere, or if you want to buy any of them directly from us through paypal get in touch and we'll sort it. Thanks to everyone who adds us or writes in. We love you all :) |
