About Me |
|
| "Think of a world where art is the only motivation."
- Rob Tyner. There once was a time when the people of the Chippewa tribe stood over the land that is now known as New Baltimore and called it their own. They were deeply seeded within the land and were more like roots than people. Then the white man came. They took everything the Native Americans had done and populated the land that runs along side the great Lake St. Clair with shopping malls of complacency. This contentment stood still in the land for years until finally the youth could not take it anymore. They picked up their guitars, they picked up their drums and they picked up their organs and exploded into a fiery phoenix of rock and roll. The sound they made was so powerful that it mixed in with the soil, the dirt and the water and brought to life the eternal spirits of those that had been left behind. This is the people’s music. These are The Dial Tones. Right now we are working on finding a label home to release our new recordings. We are also currently working on a tune for the Bellyache Candy Shoppe comp, "Sweet Sounds of Detroit Vol. 2" Fuck yeah! This profile was made at Whateverlife.com! :) |
