Michael-Angelo, 21 year-old pop/rock artist from Montreal, composes, performs and engineers his music himself. He recently launched his album Trip the Light Fantastic on iTunes and CD Baby (also available off stage) through his own record label, Bond Records. The album’s sound is a pop mixture of acoustic guitars and synths with layers of warm folk and kickin’ funk ultimately mounting to a ton of rock...Michael-Angelo studied jazz guitar at Vanier College in Montreal. He learnt about the music business through L’Ecole du Show Business, The Songwriters Association of Canada and with Mark Vinet (entertainment lawyer and author). Since the age of fifteen, he has performed and produced over 100 concerts across Quebec and has collaborated and co-produced albums and EPs with artists such as Jervais, Patrick Ménard (Yelo Molo, 92-99). Also, Michael-Angelo has won and been a finalist in many music competitions including the International Songwriting Competition, Première d'Eric Lapointe and Corrida.Recently, Michael-Angelo moved to Toronto in a push to take his talent another step forward.
