| I'm an outgoing and occasionally sassy(!) and fierce(!) (hmmm ... dare I say ferosh?!) editor-in-chief of a new national Asian American magazine called AsianAm. We're based in Las Vegas and set to launch in October. Before moving to Las Vegas in February 2008, I was an arts and entertainment editor at the Pulitzer Prize-winning The San Diego Union-Tribune in sunny San Diego. I worked on two sections: the youth entertainment blog UTStreet.com and the weekly entertainment tabloid called Night&Day. A few of my former job duties: Happy Hours, restaurant reviews, nightclub openings, concert and CD reviews, networking on MySpace and parties, parties and more parties (seriously, I'm in rehab with Amy Winehouse after this last job!). It was a tough job, but somebody had to do it, right? I've been a journalist for more than 11 years and still love my job. I feel very blessed in work and in life. My family means the world to me, include my beautiful 1-year-old niece Anya Kay Harmon. And I do as badass Shaffer says.
