| I started off as a resident DJ for 'ill commotion', a monthly club night @ Cargo (London)showcasing true school & underground hip hop. Although i fell out of love with the scene i owe a lot to the disciplined aproach to DJing i learn't through turntablism ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ********************************************** Seeing the chemical brothers @ sonar'05 was a turning point, in fact Sonar as a whole changed my whole outlook on music. Performances from Soulwax, Miss kitten and Diplo set me in a new direction and i tried to expose myself to as many different artists as possible. As well as perfecting a different style of DJing i put in time in the studio, and am finally coming up with some new material which more accurately represents where im coming from now. Its a more deep, stripped-down, tech angle, major influences being Minus, Pokerflat, Elektrochemie, Dirtybird and a sprinkling of dubstep ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ******************************* LOVES: Velcro, The architecture of Tadao Ando, Boring postcards, shoe horns, Queues and mamals ************************************ HATES: Toe socks, Gated communities, Bootcut jeans, Bollywood, student nights and sales. | |
