Myspace Editor Pimp MySpace I am a British Actor with a ROCK 'N' ROLL spirit and many eccentric and edgy facets. Though acting is at the epicentre, I do other things in my life too. Let me explain all....This is a link to my acting website ://www.deefyfe.com/I trained as an actor in London England at the Central School of Speech and Drama and have done professional work in film, TV drama, theatre and TV commercials. As well as a Drama graduate, I am also a Psychology graduate and still dabble in the study of the psyche for my own personal use.Here is a link to my theatrical and commercial showreels http://www.deefyfe.com/showreel.htmlI am currently scriptwriting and developing a number of scripts for TV and film. One is a piece based in ancient times. It is a facual raw history thrown in your face with fiction woven into it. I will be promoting and highlighting the fact that ancient Egyptians were the first to create theatre and ancient Greek theatre followed and was inspired by it. Like Ancient Greek's and Shakespeare's plays my piece will include comedy and tragedy. I am also writing a stark piece about the underbelly of South East England. Another piece I am developing is with another British writer who is also involved in working on various scripts with the BBC. The script we are working on together is a quirky black comedy based in Europe. It is a study of some of Europe's painfully lush culture and the dynamic of outsiders desparately trying to be part of it. I intend to continue writing film and TV scripts and eventually develop a production company. I would also like to set up my own theatre company in the future.Aside from acting I sometimes do other work in the entertainment industry including TV hosting and presenting. Fortunately, I mostly get strange but cool gigs like interviewing rock gods or liquor-lashed legends like David Soul. Yes indeed, I will putting footage from that interview on the page soon . Currently, I'm talking about hosting my own radio show. I have worked with Diesel, Levi Jean's, Edward Jones, BBC and Smirnoff Ice amoungst others.As you can see my creative juices have not gone on the wildest of sprees for my page but maybe one day... I am a bit of a minimalist though so this might be your lotIn my down time, I enjoy making rock and blues music and DJing. I spin mostly rock indie mashup electro, and alternative. I also indulge in writing rock and blues songs, singing with rock bands and get involved in random jamming sessions. I have also done some studio work and recorded a few of my track as well doing vocals for other musician's projects.I have DJ'd spinning rock, electro, classic house, mash-ups and altenative music at some of the largest clubs in London and at events for some top national magazines including NME and Loaded.
