| I'm Keith [Keith] and this is my band Diet Kong. We make Capitalist Art Rock. Freedom, Art, Money. Get out of my way. A person is smart. Groups of people are dumb. Nothing is bigger than a person. Government and social pressure must be minimal. Respect each others rights and only have laws to protect them. Oh yeah, we have songs, too. 10 of them are on our recent self-titled cd (guess what it's called).
I like to wrap my feet and arms in duct tape when we play, paint my suit and pour baby powder over me. Intellectual Reason: I wanted to create a contemporary western version of the Sadhu in India who meditate in crematoriums and cover themselves in human ash. Real Reason: It's entertaining. Truthfully, it makes great dust clouds and hides cocaine habits. As for accolades, we were 97 on the CMJ Top 200 Chart, New York's Deli Magazine said we're "a stirring musical apparition... with Arcade Fire-like appeal", and my mom just can't figure out why we're not playing the Regis Show instead of those crappy bands.
