Since forming in late 2004, RSE has had the pleasure of opening shows for such amazing artists as: Maceo Parker (James Brown, P-Funk, Prince) Robert Randolph and the Family Band Les Claypool’s Electric Apricot The Samples Moonshine Still Tishamingo RAQ Delta Nove Green Lemon New MasterSounds Jim Weider’s Project Percolator The Bridge Phix On The One Global Funk Vinyl The Greasy Beats and many more. Individual members of RSE have previously opened for: Weezer, Umphrey’s McGee, Counting Crows, Blondie, Live, Dub Trio, Dan Bern, Split Lip Rayfield & Ominous Seapods. RSE also performed live at the 2007 Wakarusa Music & Camping Festival in Lawrence, Kansas, alongside such incredible artists as: Widespread Panic, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Ben Harper, Galactic, Little Feat, Yonder Mountain String Band, Bassnectar and many more. RSE’s Saturday afternoon set at Wakarusa featured an appearance from very special guest Charlie Hitchcock (former Particle Guitarist) who joined in on Guitar for a cover of "Fearless" from Pink Floyd’s classic album "Meddle." Artist Robert Marx (marxmarx.com) commemorated the event for RSE with an original poster. This is RSE’s first ever "poster-art" and it commemorates their first ever "National Festival" performance. A limited run of only 75 were printed and made available. |
