| I am 24 year old college student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, with a major in English and two minors: spanish and photography. I am the Senior News writer for my school newspaper, The Exponent. I will be going to grad school soon to further my degree in English, writing, and journalism. I hope someday to be an accomplished author and world activist. A total idealist with hopelessly romantic dreams. Music:I love everything but really stupid rap,pop, alternative,or country.I am not rulling all music from those catergories out- like The Roots, OutKast, Atmosphere, ect..is good rap.If I am going to listen to pop or alternative it has to have something meaningful to say, like the Gorillaz or Madonna does. I am a Madonna Lover. The only country I like really is old country. I love classic rock-Floyd,the Grateful Dead, Zepplin,Moody Blues,Cat Stevens, Bob Marley etc.. are some all time favorites. The blues and jazz- got to have Miles and Coltrane, Ella and Billy, Herbie, Loui ect.. I love classical and bluegrass. My boyfriend once taught me that when there is a cloudy day play some bluegrass and the sun will come your way and sure enough it has literally worked everytime! Lately I have really copped a feel on some worldy music- pretty cool ambient shit man! And of course my all time favorite bands: DAVE MATTHEWS BAND, JACK JOHNSON, ANI DEFRANCO, NORA JONES AND NICKLE CREEK. I have also recently got into a lot of folk and indie: Iron & Wine, A Fine Frenzy, Indie Arie, Ingrid Michaelson- I am so in love with this music . |

Movies:movies that can really cause me to be empathetic are a great plus. I love movies that makes me cry out of joy, out of sadness and of course laughter. All time favorite include- Dead Poets Society, In her shoes,Under the Tuscan Sun, troy, tombstone, and a whole lot lot lot lot more-- i have this hobby or more like nitch that when a person is flipping throught the channels on tv- I can tell what movies is on like with in 2 or 3 seconds of a scene- what can I say- when i lived with my mom she took me to see a movie 2 or 3 times a week and when i moved to my dads- he was a head manager of best buy and always bought movies-- I have probably seen a enough movies to last 20 lifetimes but i love them-- there are so many that are my favorite i could not possibly name them all-- i loveeee romantic comedys and gory scary thrillers-- and comedies are a must-- 40-year old virgin |

Television:Dont get to watch tv much and when i do it is usually discovery, health, tlc---educational channels-- i like the movie channels and the news(true news)--- but face it when do we really get the real story? I do absolutly adore Grey's Anatomy. It's a soap pop, but it has a lot of really good messages. LOVE IT! |
