She is a singer, a writer, and arranger with an undoubtedly unique style all her own. Writing from life's experiences and singing with soul's embrace, Roshana is bound to be prominent in this industry for years to come. " I just wanna stay behind the scenes and write, that's cool with me". She loves music with all that she has, and makes it very clear what she wants to do with her talent. While writing and working with local producers in the Detroit area, she is seeking a full time spot as an in-house writer for a major label. Backed by phenominal production and powerhouse representation, she will be making hits that will have everyone laughing, crying, happy, sad, dancing, and singing. Music:Member Since: 2/19/2006Band Members: Me, Roshana, and Me. Influences: I am influenced by all of my surroundings. Anything, from the sunrise to the night sky, can cause an " emotional write-down". The people, the places, the events, are all the inspiratons for my expressions. Of course I can not aleviate the greats who have influenced myself and my style from early on. The likes of Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Rachelle Ferrell, Rick James, Quincy Jones, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Maze feat. Frankie Beverly, Minnie Ripperton, Sade, Nina Simone, Mariah Carey, Marvin Gay, Tammi Terrell, Roberta Flack, and so many more musical geniuses, have raised me to be the singer and songwriter I am today. I can also credit some of today's hottest, like Pharrell Williams, The Neptunes, Jay-Z, Destiny's Child, Missy Elliot, Kem, and so many more to really name. "Most of all, I am inspired by God. Knowing and realizing him is what truly allows me to write and sing how I feel. You should know him too. You really could be greater than you ever imagined with Him".
