| Leiv Reed is a norwegian stringplayer and songwriter born in Reed, 1984. Finger-picking is a key to all his playing but not necessarily to the songwriting. Thematics revolve around walking, philosophy, at times love, other times what labour does to you and what it demands from you, but all songs have in common the post-card like documentation of the small reveries people sometimes have. Leiv Reed has one official release on the label Sex-tags ( sextags.com ) featuring his Lazy. On Last.fm there are several releases available for free downloading and streaming, with various recordings. Some of the recordings features Jørgen Sandvik from Real Ones and Bosse Litsheim from Ai Phoenix. This fall Leiv Reed is going on tour as a guitarist for the wonderful lo-fi/slow-core band Ai Phoenix. Go to aiphoenix.no to see dates and venues.
