FORGOTTEN NOBODY can trace its beginnings back to the summer of 1998 when lead singer/guitar player Steve first began writing music. As a student at Mount Union College (Alliance, OH), Steve was actively composing songs and performing at local hometown coffee shops, while on college breaks, and at university events. It didnt take long for his popularity as a singer/songwriter to spread, however, Steve's end goal was to eventually form a band in order to further express his music. The dream of forming a band was later realized in early 2001 with the formation of Forgotten Nobody after releasing a small number of his cds from a self produced, solo project titled, Coming Off Of One Too Many(2000), and the band began performing shows to responsive crowds throughout the area. They went on to record one (unreleased) demo live from Mount Union College and became a regular act at Mangos Club in Alliance (OH). However, in the spring of 2003, the original members of Forgotten Nobody parted ways as a band and never performed together again. In the summer of 2005, Steve met up with high school friend and current bassist, Troy. They soon began rearranging previously written songs; the combination of Troy's musicianship and Steve's extensive repertoire and driving passion was a perfect match. The band still required a rhythm section, so Troy contacted long-time college friend, Jeff...a.k.a., "Booch". His progressive, melodic approach to drumming was exactly what Troy and Steve were looking for. So, with the final pieces in place, Forgotten Nobody was reborn--now better than ever--in the summer of 2005. Their first performance after the reformation, was on October 9, 2005 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Indiana, PA). They played an all-original set to a packed college crowd and were well received. In the April of 2006, Forgotten Nobody was featured on 93.7 K-Rock's Fifteen Minutes of Fame (Pittsburgh, PA), featured in Curb Magazine (Greensburg, PA) as the Local Band Spotlight, and performed for the first time in their hometown of Scottdale. In July of 2006, Forgotten Nobody debuted on popular Pittsburgh radio station, 102.5 WDVE's Friday Morning Coffee House morning show, playing live from the studio. July 30, 2006 brought Forgotten Nobody to the world famous Hard Rock Cafe for the first time- with several more Hard Rock shows to follow. On August 3, 2006, Forgotten Nobody's "The Way Things Used to Be", from the Missing Screws EP (2006), was featured on England's Unsigned Rock Podcast, for it's walking bassline, popular lyrics, and "classic, early rock & roll" feel. On October 19, 2006, Forgotten Nobody was officially introduced to the college circuit, playing at Pennsylvania's Slippery Rock University. After hanging out with the awesome and supportive crowd, Steve went into the SRU radio station, 88.1 WRSK, for an interview and a wonderful opportunity to debut a new Forgotten Nobody song, titled, "Call Out My Name", unplugged and acoustic. The song aired on October, 24, 2006. Forgotten Nobody is currently in the playlist rotation, on 88.1 WRSK, and is asking for college support if you are attending Slippery Rock University. On January 12, 2007, Forgotten Nobody kicked off the new year as the featured artist on WLER 97.7 FM 's morning show, "Friday Finds". On January 28, 2007, Forgotten Nobody was featured for the second time on 93.7 K-Rock's Fifteen Minutes of Fame. Forgotten Nobody is now booking shows throughout the Western and Central PA area!
