About Me



Dedicated to the director of classic films such as 'Assault On Precinct 13', 'Halloween', 'Escape From New York', 'The Fog', and 'The Thing'. Discussing all aspects of John Carpenter from his directing, to his music, the scripts, and the people who make his visions come to life. Offers up-to-the-minute news on what John Carpenter is doing at the moment and a section for reviews of his films. There is also discussion of other films, directors, and actors.

John Carpenter was born in Carthage, New York. His family moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky, where his father was the head of the music department at Western Kentucky University. He attended Western Kentucky University and then USC film school in Los Angeles, not the University of South Carolina. While there, he did "The Resurrection of Bronco Billy" and started "Dark Star". "The Coupe de Villes" included directors Tommy Lee Wallace and Nick Castle.
