++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Etar o started back in 2003, when Alejandro & Fernando, join each other to start a minimal electro punk band, motivated by their devotion to bands such as, the normal, throbbing gristle, kraftwerk, suicide, can, sonic youth and reynols. Their first times consisted in a series of gigs with a third member, Matias cozzy fanny tutti, a young and talented multi instrument player, who came from hardcore-crust and concrete music scenes. These performances had them playing several analog synthesizers, effects modules, and customized guitars. They played unique kraut-rock tracks, combining noise with a primal tecnopop. Their first studio album which was recorded at Indymedia Rosario studio included 2 tracks taken from their first live concert.(joining Martim Arce* as guest musician) This album was released by the Argentina based label "Planeta X" in cd-r format discs. Later works will be found between ambient experimentation and concrete music ("Ep" 3, 2003), ( "Vacio" 2005, released in 2008) At the end of this first years etaro..s sound started to become darkwave electro style and they started using sequencers. Matias who every day seemed more motivated by music styles like psychodelic blues and acoustic music began playing harmonica, bongoes and classic guitar leaving the band in 2006 which at this time was already converted into a kind of obscure rythm machine.At this point, Fernando and Alejandro had a couple of techno sounding Eps (Hay que cortarse el pelo 2005 and La sequencia moderna 2006 both released by planeta x) So they decided start spinning records.Their sets have a dark and hard sound which scapes from the regular dj sets lineal style, moving along the different clubber sounds.Playing genres like detroit techno, chcago acid, ebm and electro Actually they are producing tracks using midi sequencers and allways looking forward to the future, taking their productions to the craziest floors*argentinian experimental electronic music pioner, rock critic, performer and filmmaker+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++El comienzo de Etaro data del año 2003, cuando Fernando Mariño y Alejandro Beresi se juntan para formar una supuesta banda de minimal electro-punk, motivados por su devoción hacia bandas como the normal, trohbing gristle, kraftwerk, suicide, can, sonic youth y reynols. Su primera época consistió en una serie de recitales junto un tercer integrante: Matías cozzi, un joven multinstrumentista , que venia del harcore crass, y de la música concreta .Estas performances los encontraban Provistos de varios sintetizadores analógicos, módulos de efectos y guitarras preparadas, ejecutaban irrepetibles piezas de kraut-rock, combinado con noise y un desgarrado tecno-pop Paralelamente su primer trabajo de estudio grabado en los estudios indymedia rosario más dos traks de su primera performance en vivo con Martim arce (pionero de la musica experimental local , critico de rock, performer , y cineasta ) como musico invitado son editados por planetax discos en formato cd-r . Los trabajos posteriores se caracterizan Por la experimentación ambient y la música conctreta (Ep 3 , 2003) , (vacio 2005, editado 2008 ). Hacia finales de esta primera etapa el sonido de etaro se empezó a volcar más al dark wawe electro y en el uso de secuenciadores…Matías cada día mas motivado por estilos musicales como el blues psicodélico o la música acústica se vuelca Mas a la percusión, a la armónica, y a la guitarra, hacia el 2006 abandona la banda ya convertida en una especie de “maquina rítmica oscura”. Fernando y Alejandro, ya con un par de EPS con sonido tecno (hay que cortarse el pelo 2005, y la secuencia moderna 2006) y un profundo amor melomano hacia el electro y tecno, prueban suerte escapando del frio y depoblado altillo de la musica experimental en vivo y se ponen a pinchar discos, sus sets se caracterizan por un sonido duro y oscuro Que escapan a la linealidad de los dj sets ordinarios, atravesando el abanico de sonidos Clubber con géneros como el Detroit tecno, el Chicago acid, el ebm de Munich, el electro de Grenoble, el neo-trance Berlines, o la mezcla de todo so en Rótterdam. Detractores del midi sobre sus comiensos los etaro , cambian su forma de pensar y su Ultima o mas bien mas actual epoca conciste en las producción de musica electronica via midi y en la busqueda de los ultimos avances musicales-tecnologicos , llevando sus producciones y su melomania al centro de las pistas mas acidas .************************************************** kontakte : etaro@hotmail.com |
