| Generally interested to know when music promoters will realise how annoying it is to people in Scotland, Ireland and Wales when they promote a "UK Tour" and it only features locations in England. Interested in why that isn't just a "English Tour". Trade Description Act people!! *sigh* So many disappointments... | |
I'd like to meet:Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Mr T and Natalie Umbruglia. Preferably not at the same time as I would burst!Should mention I have already had the wonder of meeting Kasabian, Nizlopi, some of the group Dusty Rhodes and the River Band, and The Delays (gee backstage isn't as lush as you might think - get some paint Moshulu!). Ooh was back stage with the Bluetones once as well, at Liquid Rooms, just have an image of leopard print fur walls... I served Robbie Coltrane dinner once at my parent's restaurant. Also met Hannah Gordon a couple of times and had a lovely evening with one of my friends and Junior Simpson after seeing him perform in a comedy club. Have spotted a few other celebs at various times: Sean Connery, Julie Walters, Ricky Gervais, Sarah Alexander, and Kiefer Sutherland come to mind just now. |

Music:Oh yeah, I love music. Would listen to it all day every day if I could, drat the silence in the library rules!! Do like a varied collection and some of it is pap. I say if it makes you happy its good and that's all that matters! So, off the top of my head, current favourites are: Garbage, Kasabian, Snow Patrol, Shakin Stevens, The Troggs, Dolly Parton, Delays, Nizlopi, Stellastarr*, Britney Spears, James Blunt, The Bluetones, Roxette, Natalie Umbruglia, Alanis Morrisette, Aha, Cypress Hill, David Gray, Green Day, Guns and Roses, Let Loose. In no particular order of course!! And certainly not a comprehensive list! |

Movies:I love watching movies, and again have varied likes and loves. Some favs I can think of right now are: Dirty Dancing (well I am a girl!), Little Mermaid, Benny and Joon, The Transporter, Bad Boys, Charlie and the Chocolate Factoy, Love Actually, Brokeback Mountain, Pirates of the Carribean I, II and III (hence having had a chipmunk called Captain Jack Sparrow!), all the American Pie films, Drop Dead Fred, Finding Neverland, 8 Mile, Indecent Proposal, Edward Scissorhands, The Secretary, Lilo and Stitch, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Transformers..oh and probably many more that just aren't springing to mind just now! |

Television:Favs are: Top Gear, Heroes, Young Ones, Desperate Housewives, Nip/Tuck, Friends, Coupling, IT Crowd, Scrubs, 2 Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. Also Chef and Kitchen Confidential, which I love but then my Dad's a chef so maybe that's something to do with it! |

Books:Well of course I like books - I'm a librarian! Now that I'm settled into my new life in Aberdeen with my part time hours I am finally getting round to reading some of the books I've been hoarding for some time! |
