I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 ! I never know what to say on these "about me" pages, and I'm sure no one reads this anyway, but what the hell. Some of my interests include photography, clothes and makeup (of course), music, dancing, animals (especially pit bulls, rottweilers, and cats of all sizes), leopard print, architecture, movies (mostly horror and giallo films), the ocean, and traveling (I love NYC and Chicago the best). Then there's my odd obsession with true crime, and absolute fascination with anything really bizarre - the more strange, the better. Sometimes I think of myself as the anti-woman, because I have no maternal instincts whatsoever, and I'm not hysterical or over-emotional. THIS MEANS I DO NOT WANT CHILDREN. EVER. I also have a love-hate relationship with driving. I am a speed demon, and hate people who get in my way on the road. I need anger management for my road rage! I love trying new things, meeting interesting people, and have been known to get drunk every now and then (who the hell am I kidding - all the time). I'm an open and honest person, and I can be very blunt and sarcastic at times. But it's never meant to be taken too seriously. I just tend to say whatever comes to mind, even if it sounds incredibly silly. I'm a sucker for animals, and will go out of my way to help one in need. Movies:I like horror, suspense and mystery, especially 60's and 70's Italian giallo.I also like really silly comedies. And old b&w film noirs and thrillers. A few are:American Psycho Seven Suspiria The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh All the Colors of the Dark Velvet Goldmine Vampyros Lesbos Venus in Furs The Bird With the Crystal Plumage Blood and Black Lace Black Sunday Woman in a Lizard's Skin Torso Vampire's Kiss Spasmo The Case of the Scorpion's Tail Death Walks at Midnight The Red Queen Kills 7 Times The Whip and The Body Nearly all movies with Christopher Lee Troy Fight Club American History X Gladiator Lord of the Rings (all 3) Serial Mom The Day After Tomorrow, X-Men (all 3) Spiderman (both) - I used to be a comic geek... Cheesy comedies like Sorority Boys, White Chicks, and Kung Pow Saved!, many others too numerous to mention... Some of my favorite actors are Christian Bale, Christoher Lee, Christopher Walken, Ian McKellan, Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Robert DeNiro, and Al Pacino. I also love most movies with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Will Ferrell. Most of my favorite actresses are long dead, like Greta Garbo, Louise Brooks, Clara Bow, and Jean Harlow. I love Monica Bellucci and Isabelle Adjani. Sharon Stone is also pretty cool. I also love Barbara Steele, Soledad Miranda, Edwige Fenech, and Maria Rohm (of Venus In Furs fame). |

Television:I hardly ever watch TV, unless it's about current events, fashion or travel. The one exception is Absolutely Fabulous. I love that show! And Six Feet Under. |

Books:I AM FIXATED ON TRUE CRIME BOOKS! That's the overwhelming majority of what I read.I also like horror novels, especially old William W. Johnstone. I love photography books, especially ones about New York City and the World Trade Center (when it was still there). I have a bunch of fashion photography books, including David LaChappelle, Mario Testino, and Ellen Von Unwerth. I also read some comic books and manga, anything by Evan Dorkin, and the New York Times. Then there's my sick fashion magazine obsession - I read them all - even imports. |
