| MyGenMC Gusto, mc originally from SE London, began mc ing back at the age of 16 when he started on the old 2G Fm, and live shows at various events in London quickly followed. Gusto became resident mc for Seismic Force events, and after becoming based in Leeds, he swiftly became established with residences for many promotions, incl. Legends of the Dark Black, Lockdown and angel breaks. Gaining ever greater exposure, Gusto has now performed all round the country- from Brighton to Edinburgh, and at Sheffield, Manchester,Leicester, Nottingham, Newcastle and Liverpool with DJ's like Hype, Mampi Swift, Cause4Concern, Grooverider, N. Blackmarket, BSE, Loxy,Ed Rush..hes known as a versatile host over many styles and as a lyrical mc. As well as these shows, since 2003 Gusto has performed round the country as part of the innovative live DnB band Scassa Monakee; playing at all kinds of events and bringing DnB to wider audiences..playing at hip hop shows, band nights, and festivals incl. Lovebox, the Moor Music Festival, and Yorkfest. Check out www.smsq.co.uk. They are currently working on the new album - watch out coming very soon.. Now based in London, watch out for appearances at forthcoming drum n bass, dubstep nights, and live shows, as well as his Residence at Central Beatz events. Over the airwaves Gusto has guested on Frequency 88.1 fm, Camoflauge, Origin, UkRumble and Aftershock.com - so watch out for upcoming radio shows as well! |
