Bellman (Arne-Johan Rauan) is a new but already highly saluted artist. With his tender and present vocal, he did, in 2005, spellbind the NRK Urort Jury and the Norwegian radio-audience. This secured him a third place in the Urort final 2006 which is the biggest competition for unsigned bands in Norway, with over 11.000 bands competing. His music has been compared with bands like Sigur Ros, Stina Nordenstam and Mercury Rev with his atmospheric and floating sound picture. He has opened for among others: Ken Stringfellow, Briskeby, Madrugada and Snow Patrol. Beautiful melodies and harmonies is pierced by a vokal that tickles your spine in an unique and androgen way.
