| EX ARBUTUS TRIO!
Personal: Born In 2006 in the grassy fields on an island surrounded by the emerald green waters of the Pacific Ocean named Vancouver Island. They found a love for frequent journeys into uncharted musical lands! Consisting of Jordan Stubbs, the deck hand drummer; Kyle Plantinga, the stowaway and bass sword sharpener; Leo Cieslak, nest boy and solo controller; and Justin Bones, the savvy boozehound and verse mate! Sailor’s Blood conquer audiences with their swift attack of folk-punk infused rock and roll, heavy in ferocity, power, and pure heart! Their role models include Black Beard, Sailor Jerry, Billy Bones, Captain Hook, a distrust in organised sailormanship (NAVY), and an avid promotion of piracy. Education: The members of Sailor’s Blood all attended the Great Big Sea Concert of 1995; first words were the entire chorus of the Styx hit “Come sail away;” and were conceived by groupies of fans of Billy Ocean. Notable Voyages: During the spring equinox of 2007, the blood traveled via a large steel-wheeled vessel from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean and in the oncoming summer solstice they ventured to the great lakes of Alberta. During these voyages they have battled alongside many grand ships such as: S.S. Our Mercury, S.S. One Drop, S.S. Flatliners, H.M.C.S Rebel Spell, H.M.C.S. Pascal Picard, and the legendary gang of 40 Thieves. Ship Upkeep: Currently building their new vessel “Ghost Hunt!”, To be released in The Paperbird Ocean ( Paperbird Music ) May 2008. With this vessel they plan on a new Albertan voyage following the release of this new ship, and a Cross country voyage the following summer! |
