| This is the part that I really and truly hate, how do I tell people about myself without sounding like a total wanker . . . well here goes.
I have lived in GA for a little over a year now, I have dealt with a crazy psycho room mate (I am now a firm believer of heavily medicating mental patients!), tornados (3 so far) and the greatest assortment of friends and loved ones (Lena, Suzy Bell and Isabella, to name a few) -- once you get past the y'all routine it's amazing here. Originally I am from a small New England town named Whitman (it's where the Toll House Cookies come from -- yum!!). Whitman is a typical 19th century town that never grew up, where everyone knows everyone and everyone thinks they know everything -- think Stephen King on crack (I don't miss it or the small minds). I've learned a mojor lesson while living here; we all have a past that haunts us, but we also have a future that beckons for us to move forward. As my dearest friend Suzy Bell would say, "Darlin' stop always looking behind there's a whole world in front of you" (I love you Suzy Bell !!)
I should warn you, I am gay, I am very much out and open about it. I am proud of who I am and what I've become (I've earned that halo and those horns lol), and no one is going to judge me, ever, on how I prefer to love and be loved. Love is love, get over it!!!!
My biggest faults, I have a few, are that I like to be the major center of attention, way too much (hey, I'm a star lol) and can be totally immature when I should be a responsible adult (yeah sure, 'bite my bunny'). And my humour and wit can be taken as overly cutting, or seem insulting to those who don't know me and what I'm about -- sorry, it's a New England thing I guess.
I am me, I make no excuses or apologies about it, if you like me f**king cool and thanks, if not well who really cares I'm not accountable to you and i never will be. I am only accountable to myself and god -- so deal with it.
