Movies:I love the great epic movies with great music and cinematography and I also love a simple love story or stories about the quiet human struggles in life -- A little known movie that really touched my heart is called El Norte and is about a brother and sister from Central America -- Also movies about the lives of great artists such as Vincent Van Gogh -- and many more -- |

Books:The books I love most have to do with spirituality ~ My hometown was the home to Yogi Paramahansa Yogananda and you can see the photos I took of his retreat in my picture section ~ His writing greatly inspires me as well as many other spiritual guides. Also, I love books which speak of kindness and compassion for people ... Many history books speak of the lack of compassion when revealing some tragic events in time ..that I pray their lessons can lead to enlightenment and not to repeat itself in our current world and everyday lives ~ I also love reading inspiring books of poems and quotes ~ and reading about the great artists of our time and their lives like the great masters such as ~ Michelangelo, da Vinci, Van Gogh ~ |
