| THE MERCY KILLS are a 3 piece Rock outfit from the streets of St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia...
Mark E (guitar), Scottie (drums) and Miss Jennifer (bass) all kick it out hard on vocal duties.
THE MERCY KILLS formed in late 2004 out of a desire to strip things back and write some raw songs.
2005 was spent writing and playing shows around the 'rock pits' of Melbourne, taking their new songs to a receptive audience.
2006 saw THE MERCY KILLS enter the studio to record.
Their first independent E.p release is available though itunes (Amphead/The Orchard). In July 2007 THE MERCY KILLS song 'NEED IT' was added as track No 1 to RIOT ON SUNSET Vol 4 from 272 Records in Los Angeles and is receiving constant airplay from college radio and online stations such as Seattle's 104.9 FM, Live 365.com, Smash 679 and Fat Cat radio. In August 272 Records released Suburban Threat, which is a split album featuring THE MERCY KILLS and THE JOYSTIX. www.272records.com. Suburban Threat' has just been re-released kickin' and screaming into 2008 with new artwork and is being quickly added by more radio and online entities and is available in hard copy.
