Music by means of songs. Songs by means of melodies. That simple. That direct." Dunno is one of the most promising bands in Spain. With a British-influenced sound and image, catchy songs and original straightforward lyrics, these four guys from Barcelona release their first album, titled Fiction Or Reality, in October 2006. The album captures the energy the band shows onstage. It features 14 tracks based on a direct, energic and raw (but catchy) powerpop. This is indeed what makes Dunno different: the combination of pop melodies and energic rock guitars with the rawness and conciseness of the 70s punk. All this wrapped up in a wide range of rhythms to non-stop dancing. Their energic live show has earned them very positive reviews, success in contests (winners of the St.Adrian Pop Rock Festival, second in the prestigious Proyecto Demo 08, finalists in Lemon Pop 07) and has taken them to the most important venues in cities like Barcelona (Razzmatazz, Bikini, Salamandra, Sidecar, Apolo), Madrid (Joy-Eslava, Moby Dick, Copérnico) and London (The Dublin Castle). Dunno es una de las bandas más prometedoras del panorama nacional actual. Con un sonido y una imagen con claras influencias británicas, temas pegadizos y letras directas de gran originalidad, estos cuatro barceloneses publican en octubre de 2006 su primer álbum, titulado Fiction Or Reality. El LP refleja la energía que destila la banda en los escenarios. Son 14 temas de un powerpop directo, enérgico y crudo pero a la vez pegadizo. Éste es precisamente el elemento diferencial de Dunno: la combinación de las melodías del pop y la energía de guitarras del rock con la crudeza y lo conciso del punk de los 70. Todo ello con una variedad rítmica para no parar de moverse. Su enérgico directo ha recibido muy buenas críticas, les ha proporcionado varios premios (ganadores del XII Certamen Pop-Rock Villa de San Adrián, segundos en el Proyecto Demo 08, finalistas del Lemon Pop 07) y les ha llevado a las salas más importantes de ciudades como Barcelona (Razzmatazz, Bikini, Salamandra, Sidecar, Apolo), Madrid (Joy-Eslava, Moby Dick, Copérnico) y Londres (The Dublin Castle).
